CLIENT: HPMI of FAMU’s Engineering School
PROJECT: Augmented Reality App for 3D Printer Training
BACKGROUND: HPMI of FAMU’s Engineering School needed a more interactive and engaging way to train their students on the basics of using their 3D printers. They approached Covalent Reality to create an augmented reality (AR) app that would allow students to interact with a virtual 3D printer and learn about the various components and functions.
SOLUTION: Covalent Reality developed an AR app that utilized cutting-edge technology to create a virtual 3D printer that students could interact with and learn from. The app allowed students to view and manipulate a virtual model of the printer, learn about the various components and functions, and practice their skills in a safe and controlled environment.
RESULTS: The AR app developed by Covalent Reality was a huge success. HPMI of FAMU’s Engineering School saw a significant increase in student engagement and retention rates, as the app provided a more interactive and immersive learning experience than traditional training methods. The app also helped reduce the risk of accidents and injuries that can occur during hands-on training, making the learning process safer and more efficient.
CONCLUSION: Covalent Reality’s AR app for HPMI of FAMU’s Engineering School was an innovative and effective solution that provided students with a more engaging and interactive learning experience. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and expertise in AR development, Covalent Reality was able to create a customized solution that met the client’s needs and exceeded their expectations.
